About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled, detail-obsessed Print Production Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows their way around both digital printing and production finishing.
This is not an entry-level role. This is for someone who can walk in, assess a job, run it, finish it, and deliver it like a pro—with minimal hand-holding and maximum pride.
If you’ve ever said, “I’ve got this” while a printer is beeping, a cutter is waiting, and a deadline is looming… we should talk.
What You’ll Do
- Operate digital production equipment (high-speed copiers, wide format printers, etc.)
- Set up, run, and monitor print jobs for accuracy and quality
- Perform finishing tasks including:
- Cutting, trimming, folding
- Binding (coil, comb, perfect bind)
- Laminating and mounting
- Padding, scoring, perforating
- Ensure color accuracy and consistency across jobs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain production flow
- Review files for print readiness (bleeds, margins, resolution, etc.)
- Prioritize and manage multiple jobs under tight deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized production area
- Collaborate with team members to meet client expectations
What You Bring to the Table
- 2+ years experience as a Digital Print Production Operator
- Strong hands-on experience with finishing equipment and processes
- Solid understanding of print file setup (bleeds, crop marks, color modes)
- Experience with wide format printing is a big plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on the fly
- Strong attention to detail (you notice when something is off… and fix it)
- Ability to lift materials and stay active throughout the day
- Team player with a positive, get-it-done attitude
Bonus Points If You
- Have experience in a high-volume print shop environment
- Are familiar with RIP software and workflow systems
- Can jump between digital, wide format, and finishing without breaking stride
- Take pride in producing work that makes customers say “WOW”
