We are a fast-paced, small print shop looking to hire a dedicated Bindery Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to stay organized and efficient in a dynamic environment. This position is available as either full-time or part-time, depending on availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain various bindery equipment, including but not limited to folding, cutting, stitching, and collating machines.
Assemble printed materials by hand or machine, ensuring the finished product meets customer specifications and quality standards.
Inspect completed work for any defects or inconsistencies and ensure the highest quality before packaging.
Perform routine maintenance on bindery equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with organizing and packaging completed jobs for delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a bindery or similar role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage time to meet deadlines.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
